What Happened To Love Actually?

The movie “Love Actually” screened in 2003, but did you love it, actually?

It seems people did, me included,  but some of us didn’t realise, including the film’s Director, Richard Curtis, that there were fans of the movie that were hankering after a sequel.

So here we have a sequel of sorts. The short movie was produced to support Red Nose Day in the UK, and tells us, the audience, where the characters are up to today.

Who is in the Movie?

Most of the original cast are there, including Hugh Grant, Martine McCutcheon, Keira Knightley, Andrew Lincoln, Colin Firth, Lucia Moniz, Liam Neeson, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Olivia Olson, Bill Nighy, Marcus Brigstocke and Rowan Atkinson.

Missing are Alan Rickman, R.I.P. and his character partner Emma Thompson.

If we were to show you a trailer, technically it’s 10% of the movie, because the movie is quite short, being only 10 minutes in duration.

Instead of giving away the plot lines the trailer cleverly teases us with questions that it poses, like “who has aged the best after 14 years?”

Well, here’s the trailer anyhow.

Then there’s a few interesting tweets that came out post movie release.

There was even speculation that Canada’s Prime Minister was channeling Hugh Grant.
